Nano-Neuro Science Research Laboratory
Welcome to the NanoNeuroLab Website. The laboratory is located at the Edward Via Virginia College of Osteopathic Medicine (VCOM), in the Virginia Tech Corporate Research Center in Blacksburg, Virginia and is under the direction of Dr. Beverly A. Rzigalinski. Research at the lab is focused in two primary areas, Neuroscience and Nanotechnology, and is funded by VCOM and by grants from the National Institute on Aging and the National Institute of Neurological Disorders & Stroke. The lab is presently home to 4 graduate students, 4 undergraduate students, and 2 postdoctoral associates. The lab is also a center for numerous collaborative research efforts in neuroscience and nanotechnology, with collaborators in the Virginia Tech departments of Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Electrical & Computer Engineerging, and the Wake Forest-Viginia Tech School of Biomedical Engineering. In addition, the lab also has numerous industrial collaborators in nanoscience and nanotechnology.
